- Director, Admissions
- BS, Business Administration, Michigan Technological University
On any given day you’ll find the admissions director developing targeted communication plans, writing and editing recruitment materials, brainstorming and planning innovative on- and off-campus recruitment events, collaborating with faculty and staff from across campus to solve recruitment challenges (such as increasing female and STEM enrollment), attending college fairs, hosting live webcasts for prospective students, or unloading pallets of recruitment materials. Allison believes anything she asks her staff to do she should be willing to do herself.
Allison leads a fifteen-member recruitment team including nine regional managers, empowering them to recruit and enroll crazy smart students from across the country. Fall 2015 accomplishments include a record-breaking number of applications resulting in the largest incoming class since 2008, coupled with an increase in female enrollment to 28 percent, up from 19 percent in 2005.
